We are proud to be one of the few completely private waterfront property event venues in Manatee County, providing you and your guest peace of mind and the opportunity to truly relax and enjoy yourselves. Whether it is your wedding, Corporate gathering or family reunion, Cortez Dockside Cottages and our amazing vendors will make all of your memories come true.

Our venue can accommodate up to 100+ guests, with multiple locations for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception of any kind. The mangrove trees that line the shore provide the perfect backdrop for photos, and the twinkling lights add an element of magic to our secluded and unique paradise. We can’t wait to share with you!

The Herring House was the perfect getaway for our group of 4. It’s in a quaint but prime area with easy access to everything. Heidi has thought of everything for your stay, really nice touches throughout and is extremely communicative. We will definitely be back to any one of her properties for a getaway. Only thing is we wish we could have stayed longer!
